COMING SOON...

Greetings, friends!

This blog will officially commence on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008. Until then, be prepared for weekly writings that share some combination of encouragement, wit, and teaching (but not necessarily in that order). Know that I will be learning, too.

So join me in this process. Together we’ll examine slices of life from every arena; no topic is taboo. When we listen and respect one another, we can sharpen each other... we can learn from one another... we can grow. So let's have fun in the process!

And p.s. just for the record, if I make any grammatical mistakes, be sure not to tell my mother.

You are so fun Ann Albin. I love this. And I feel really hip, being a part of it and all. You are a wise woman and I'm SO SUPER blessed to know you better now. Boiler UP!

Well said my friend. You and Bill Kristol said it well today. Did ya catch his editorial?
Makes me remember that there is a Soverign hand in all of this inspite of ourselves and we are to continue to be faithful in all things.

I am the "Rookie Blogger". This is the first Blog I have ever encountered. So far, I'm asking myself, "Why haven't I done this before?" Probable, I never had the urge until my good friend Ann just happened to invite me to check it out. In true "Ann fashion", she is graceful in her speech, always seasoned with salt and overflowing with thankfulness."
I am looking forward to great things!

Ann,
I am new to the Blog World, and I enjoyed what you wrote! I really liked your list of people you can learn from. My husband and I saw Jerry Seinfeld in person, and loved his performance. I am glad the election is over, and I agreed with your comments about that too.

I have to say that this election is the first to make me contemplate the true state of our country. I am thankful that it is over and hope for better things to come. As I sit here in Ecuador visiting with my family and look around at my surroundings I am reminded (or actually slapped in the face)of how blessed we truly are. We sometimes feel like things are bad for us but we truly have no idea how bad it can be. I have visited my husbands country many times before but this time the people here have touched me in a way that they never have. I feel a startling revelation that we are all in this together and we have to learn to respect each other, love each other and reach out without hesitation. Great Blog Ann! I am looking forward to following it.
